Show me a sign

We now have a sign on the shop (maybe needs jazzed up a bit) to direct useful, participants towards the preparation for our (your) opening display, a photographic and story-telling history of Woodside Maryhill and Possil.

We thought as we are situated in this area we would start with a local theme to introduce ourselves. The "Georges X Chalkboard" is a geographical marker of where our base is situated. We are a no borders group and our interests are city wide. We are open to integration, participation, in any useful community events, anywhere. We also need some practical help and support to widen our base of activities, usefulness and financial survival.

This is a new project and has been created by a handful of people committing their time and energy over the last year. If it is to survive it will need more people, a diversity of types, doing small things, rather than the few doing everything. We look forward to and welcome your help and support.

Drop in for a cup of tea, find out what's happening. Ask a question on the blog. Make a comment, send a link, tell a friend. We can help make communities grow.
